  They got what you need at good prices. They’ve been in the same spot my whole life and the people inside never fail to make the community better. With how gentrified Oakland is getting it’s so reliving to have down to earth people who run an incredible market.

  Best market nearby! I love the community/neighborhood vibes here, the workers are so friendly & know everyone, and all around good selection of alcohol, snacks, and local goodies. Just tried out their $5 sandwiches at the deli & was pleasantly surprised–such a good deal and tastes great too.

  A true gem. Unbelievable selection of meat and beer. Amazing team at all hours of the day. I'm writing this review now because I might move away soon and I want to pay my respects. I can't imagine getting this lucky again with a "corner market" like this again I'm my future unless I move to like the hippest part of New York or some other legendary city.

  Friendly employees, the deli shop has very good fresh sandwiches from $4.00-$6.00. Shop here often and recommends it, parking is limited.

  Best grocery in the hood. Fresh vegetables and fruit, good food, wines and beer, just everything you want. Check out the bullet holes in the tile out front.
