This is the best museum in New York. Why? Because it's rare that you can see Noguchi's work. Here you see as much as you would at any Noguchi retrospective ever put on. The scale of the museum is lovely, not exhausting. Interesting architecture with modest materials and perfectly complementing the work. The neighborhood is authentic, stop off on Broadway somewhere near the "L" for some ethnic food of one type or another. It's the pride of Queens and raises the borough above Brooklyn (sorry, but it's true Brooklyn, try harder.

A beautiful museum that caters to people who love Japanese art. Noguchi’s work play off natural forms with a simple, tasteful way. The exhibits are breathtaking.

A hidden gem in NYC. We went there a Saturday morning and it was the magical experience. Very few people to visit this museum with extraordinary sculptures and the Magnificent garden. On top of the Noguchi works there was another exhibition that was also very interesting. This place is off the beaten path, but follow how long?

Interesting blend of old and new architecture. The outdoor garden space was particularly nice. A calming place to relax and take in several of the pieces on exhibit and one of the trees was in bloom on our visit which made it especially nice. The current Akari exhibit with the paper lamps was a fun space to enter and engage with the art pieces. Overall a well put together museum, not too costly at 10 dollar admission, and a great way to spend 30 to 60 minutes of your day.

Great museum, a little different from the norm but an interesting documentary of one man's life work plus a guest exhibit. Worth a visit to combine with Socrates sculpture park nearby, it's a short walk to the Astoria ferry terminal off Vernon Boulevard.
