  Made a reservation on our anniversary which also happened to be a very busy Mothers Day 2018, so despite the reservation, we expected to wait. However, when we arrived at no. 246, we were warmly greeted and shown to our table immediately. It was great to have our reservation respected on such a busy day for the restaurant! Food, service, and drinks were all great. My only complaint is the pricing of both the food and wine. Higher than average cost - $$$. For a table of two that ordered two glasses of wine and two entrées, we spent $110 including tip. I will return to no. 246 because of the good service and excellent food, but only when I feel that I can afford the higher price as compared to similar restaurants.

  We've been here plenty of times and no matter when we've gone, we've always had an excellent meal. The service is impeccable, the staff is very knowledgeable of the menu and wine offerings. The fish is always perfectly cooked and the hanger steak is to die for! We enjoy sitting outside on the back patio, but the ambiance inside is lovely too.

  Our entire dining experience was pure delightful. We requested outside seating and was quickly accommodated. I can't remember our servers name, but he was attentive, offered great descriptions of the food, and provide a complimentary appetizer because our drink orders didn't come out quickly. The food was delicious and we'll definitely come again and again!!

  First time at no. 246 was exceptional! Great ambiance, solid service, clean, and every single bite was phenomenal. The open-face chicken biscuit was outstanding. HOWEVER, the pancake was, hands down, the best I’ve ever had (and I love my Momma’s pancakes!)! This is a great spot for a brunch, lunch, a date, friends getting together, or a nice dinner. Will absolutely be back.

  I go for their Bolognese sauce, it's just hearty and delicious. I feel guilty going out for pasta most of the time due to the "I could cook this myself" but I never feel that way at 246. The pastas are fresh made and the sauces are complex. You can also expect expertly crafted cocktails from the bar! Reservations are usually a good idea but you can occasionally slip in on a whim.
