  My friend and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing!!! Every bite was blissful! I will definitely go back for more!

  I try to go anytime I'm in Houston. Food is delicious, great ambiance, fair prices and excellent service.

  Food and service always outstanding. Real Italian style pizza. Delicious. Roasted half chicken “Pollo Arosto” is best chicken ever.

  Nino's is a great restaurant. The food is outstanding and the wait staff is friendly and engaging. We were treated like family. It was a real treat. I had the veal chop, it was truly magnificent. Love this restaurant.

  A surprisingly horrible experience. Our server did not know the specials at all, he told us that one of the specials was Australian sea bass from Italy... Or some such nonsense. What!? It was Chilean sea bass, he discovered after he checked his notes. He did not know anything about the wines either. I don't expect everyone to know everything about wine, but this is an upscale restaurant and at the beginning of every meal service the servers meet with the chef , manager and leading servers to go over the menu and taste test wines and food ( or at the very least discuss them). I think he had been absent on this day and every day that they served or discussed wine. Two of us at the table ordered specials. My friend ordered stuffed veal. The veal was not just cooked rare it was literally 75% completely Raw. After witnessing what was serve to me he didn't even bother sending his back or complaining about it. It seems pointless. I ordered one of the specials with seafood that included crab and lobster in the dish. When it was served I took a bite of the crab that was scattered on top, the crab was refrigerator cold, which I thought was very unusual but okay because crab doesn't need to be served warm as long as it's cooked. Then, I put a fork in to my Lobster, which was cut lengthwise and split on the plate, and I tried to cut it, I could have bounced it off of the wall like a rubber ball. I turned it over and the entire bottom of the lobster was burnt, and I don't mean slightly charred. So the lobster was about 1 and 1/2 in thick, at least 1/2 inch of the lobster was completely black and crisp. If I had to guess, I would think that that Lobster had been improperly cooked for another customer, and return to the kitchen, or at the very least, improperly cooked and then replated as a special because it's served under pasta and they hoped no one would know. The server was very nice and took my plate away immediately and was very apologetic. I kept waiting for the manager to come over because I saw him visiting other tables, greeting them. No manager! I ordered spaghetti and meatballs as a replacement meal because I knew it would be served quickly. They did take the poorly cooked meal off of my ticket but still charged me full price for the spaghetti and meatballs. Also we ordered the crab claws as a starter and they were completely dry and overcooked. I am a frequent Diner and a world Traveler -- that meal was the most poorly prepared meal I have ever eaten in my entire life. I will never go back. I will never recommend that someone dine at that restaurant. It was unbelievable!
