::This was my very first visit and I saved it for a special occasion: my birthday dinner. I was definitely not disappointed! Greeted with friendly faces immediately. I had a drink at the bar while we waited for our table and the bartender was just as amazing as the hostesses. Our server (Max?) was very knowledgeable and friendly. We even met one of the managers who was nice enough to comp our dessert! I think he was being nice because not only was it my birthday but I was celebrating my 2nd time beating cancer. Anyway... the wait staff was prompt and our water glasses never got below half. The food was piping hot and delicious. The atmosphere was great (had to get used to the dark atmosphere) and I had an amazing time. They made me feel very special and I left happier than I was when to arrived! I can't wait to go back!

::We decided to reserve a dinner here for my mom’s birthday and it was very nice. The Food: The order was steak, lobster, sea bass, and the Shrimp sushi roll. Sides were broccoli, mashed potatoes, and rice. Desert was a cheesecake and tres Leches cake. It was all very very delicious and they were able to add the sparkles to the cheesecake.. The service: 10/10 they were all very welcoming and were patient with any questions we asked. They served us like literally placed the sides on the plate one by one. Queen/Princess treatment 100%. I recommend, so enjoy :).

::Let's just say the food is THE main attraction as it should be. Our waiter was awesome and attentive. The caviar was great, especially with the sides and condiments it was served with. The salmon melted in your mouth! The octopus appetizer was a winner. It had a smoky flavor throughout every bite! The duck Mac and cheese was different, but another win! It was creamy and light. It was crowded and "popping" on a Saturday night!

::Fun night with girlfriends on Tuesday night to celebrate birthday. Reservation at 7:30 pm but arrived 20 minutes late so we waited until 8:30 pm to be seated. Never seen a restaurant in Dallas so busy and so loud. We had to yell in order to hear everyone. However we were having fun. Food was absolutely amazing. I had wedge salad, Australian grilled prawns and diver scallops. We also shared the calamari and onion rings. The rainbow cake with cotton candy is a must order for celebration. The idea of the menu is sharing, because the steaks they presented on the butcher board were all very big for sharing. Our table was decorated with confetti and we got the caviar and birthday ladies got their champagne as complimentary. Very fun and happy experience. I will go back for the steaks.

::My advice to you is if you are dining with only two people do not order a second appetizer. I know it will be tempting, as everything sounds (and is amazing), but it will be too much and you won’t have room for your steak. Everything about our experience here was lovely from the complimentary caviar to the king crab topper on my perfectly cooked dry aged bone-in sirloin. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly - he tried to warn us about the portion sizes, but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs! We recommend the bone-in sirloin over the center-cut ribeye, as it was more marbled and slightly richer in flavor, but both were delicious. Also the big eye tuna tacos were the stuff dreams are made of. The ambiance of Nick & Sam’s is also a treat. It is classic, loud, but still cozy. The staff is smartly dressed, cool and friendly. It seems like the kind of restaurant where you would stumble upon the rat pack. Perfect spot for a celebration, date or to impress a client. Overall, Nick & Sam’s lived up to being one of the top rated Dallas institutions that it is and we can’t wait to dine here again.
