::Decent gym lacks some basic and essential equipment though only one lat pull down in the gym no barbell shoulder press rack. Some of the staff is very nice however the old lady there is a constant nag and buzz kill who will complain about you talking to loud or cursing she forgets it's a gym not a library

::It's getting worse and worse. Horribly dirty, broken equipment and the saunas are too dirty as well. They forget that we are paying for a better service.

::These people are nut jobs. I’ve been trying to cancel since last fall, I can’t physcially come in and apparently that was the only way. I called my bank to do a stop payment from them and dispute the months I was wrongfully charged. As the dispute case is still open, THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO CHARGE ME. I called today to speak with the manager once more.... she said she can’t cancel unless I pay the months that they have been trying to receive payments for. As you know, gyms have a stereotype for harassing calls and emails for you to sign up. But this place won’t let you go and will keep on billing you. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE THEIVES. Will be waiting for my damn cancellation. Insane management. It’s a nightmare.

::The previous review mentioned the same exact issue I have been dealing with since January 2018. I moved in December so had to cancel my membership at NYSC on 86th Street. After confirming a termination of my membership in January they went ahead and still charged my credit card for the month of February. After physically going back to the gym in February they confirmed that it would not happen again for the month of March. As you might expect my credit card was charged again in March. After speaking to a representative at the club for the 3rd time I assumed the problem had been resolved. To add icing to the cake they went ahead and charged my card again for the month of April. For a gym with so many locations I am very surprised they would conduct business this way. It is unfortunate because I did not have an issue with the gym itself. I will absolutely not be recommending this gym to anyone I know!

::Do not try this club if you don’t want to pay them permanently. I joined it for over a year and then I need to stop since I moved. I applied to stop the service in January2018.(PS:They don’t stop service on the phone and need you to go there to meet their so called general manager who is most likely not in the office.) I am still charged in March. It’s 2 months extra after stop using their service. And they still ask me to go their again to meet their manager on business day with limited options of time period.(Just make it everything inconvenient for you) They are trying to avoid meeting you and keep the charges. When you want to stop and you have enrolled your credit card for payment, call your credit card company to stop future payment.
