  I found NY Bariatric Group while doing some research into having bariatric surgery. I was on the fence about it for a while and decided to go for a consultation. I was nervous about going but when I first walked in the staff greeted me and were very attentive and sweet. I finally met with Dr. Sommer and he answered every question I had and went step by step with the process. If you are committed to the program he will be just as committed to you. I’m glad I found this group and decided to go on this journey with them in my corner.

  Dr Sommer and the entire office staff has gone above and beyond to make my weight loss journey stress free. They are pleasant, professional and accommodating. I'm looking forward to my healthy new lease on life and can't wait to share my success!!!

From the front desk management staff Stephanie, Jackie, and Anna, to the PA , and the doctor.   I enjoy going to my monthly weigh ins, the staff is so friendly and courteous! My weigh ins are always very quick! The staff moves quickly to help expedite the appointments and whole process as much as they can. I look forward to going through the rest of this life changing experience with the NYBG Family guiding me along the way!

  Since day one I have loved my exsperiences with the New York Bariatric Group! Glad to have the best doctors, care, and attention before and after surgery!! Just wish I didn’t take so long to call. My life has changed so much for the better!! I am down 80 pounds and counting, climbing mountains and just enjoying life overall!! Thank you New York Bariatric Group!!❤️❤️❤️
