Great produce great meat if you don't mind paying a little more then this is not a bad place to go. However they don't pay their employees that fair of a wage I have found although they do get other benefits such as free food that was probably going to be thrown out anyway.

No matter how good or bad your day is, you always leave this place feeling even better! The people, the produce, the meat, the deli the products, everything is top notch! This is a quintessential portland grocer.

Oh New Seasons you have broken my heart. Gone are the days of your fresh fare in the deli, gone is much of the fabulous fruits and meats. Many of these things seem to have been replaced with cheaper options. You used to give me the apple free if I accidentally grabbed a bruised one. Now I've seen whole piles of bruised and damaged fruit being sold at regular price. I was informed in your bakery that the bread I was buying wasn't made in your bakery when I can clearly see bakers and an oven behind the counter. Some of your departments have become a front apparently. Our family has noticed many of our longtime favorite familiar and oh so friendly faced employees disappearing. I think it's time for us to as well..

I love New Seasons and always enjoy visiting the family so I can stock up on the goodies that I can't get back home. Great coffee and beer options. The produce and flower sections never disappoint. Lots of hot deli options to choose from. I would gain a lot of weight if I lived in town and had constant access to such great food.

It's our closest grocer and I love the selection. Prices are higher, but you're usually getting better quality or specialty type items. I'd love to see steeper discounts more often on produce, which would help keep it fresher. I've noticed a few moldy (oranges) and past shelf life items that were still priced so high no one was interested. I love the readily available to eat food and stop in for lunch and dinners sometimes.
