  I've been going to Threading Place once a month since 2010 (7 years!) and they never remember me and always ask if it's my first time. Then they hustle me into buying a membership for $150 and put an illegal expiration date on it. I tried using it last week and they wouldn't let me because it was expired, despite the fact that it is illegal to expire gift certificates in NY if they are less than five years old. The federal Credit CARD Act of 2009 states that gift certificates issued after August 22, 2010 cannot expire for five years. They wouldn't listen to me and they've officially lost my business.

  I've been getting my eyebrows threaded here for 3 years off and on... I live in the community and it's convenient... once she used the chocolate wax and stuck the stick into the wax twice... I told her that was unsanitary and she acted as if she didn't realize she did it and apologized... today I'm here and she is waxing a lady's underarms with the same chocolate wax she keeps on the stand and she used the same stick twice. When I sat down to get my brows threaded she asked me if I wanted to use it... I explained to her that I would not like to use it because of what I witnessed and once again she said it was an accident and she forgot... Do NOT use the wax
