    It’s amazing anyone still goes here — they’re scam artists — they take customers who have company insurance and hit their insurance for a medical procedure that’s not necessary — really a division of the BBB or the state senate needs to look closely into these business practices — if you’re reading this GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

    UPDATE: THIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW ON THE EXPERIENCE OF HOW LONG IT TOOK YOU TO GET MY NEW LENS ORDER. Fri., MARCH 23, 2018 UPDATE ON THIS EXPERIENCE: THEY NEVER CALLED ME TO APOLOGIZE. IT SHOULD NOT TAKE NEW ENGLAND EYE CARE IN NORWALK, CT ALL THESE MONTHS TO FULFILL A NEW LENS PURCHASE OR A CORRECTED LENS PURCHASE. THEY LIED THAT THEY WERE SENDING ME MY GLASSES VIA FEDEX UNTIL THE INSURANCE COMPANY CALLED THEM AGAIN. THEY ARE NEGLIGENT IN FULFILING THE ORDER IN A GOOD TIME FRAME. THE WORST THING ABOUT THIS IS IT IS NEGLIGENCE TOWARDS MY HEALTHCARE. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ PLS SEND ME MY FRAME AND LENS. Here is my experience and pls. consider yourself lucky to have escaped the problems these people cause. TODAY IS TUES., March 20, 2018, I went there for an eye test IN DEC 2017, ordered and paid my copay for new lens that my insurance allows 1x a year. This office has since billed my insurance, and I believe got paid. The first lens came in about 10 days, could not see through them! Now trying to get the correct lens and my frame back has been ridiculous. HOW CAN I HAVE AN EYE TEST, ORDER AND PAY FOR NEW LENS DECEMBER 2017, AND WE ARE IN MARCH 2018, AND I DON’T HAVE THEM. My phone records will show how many times I’ve called this office...THEY NEVER FOLLOWED UP TO CALL AND EVEN APOLOGIZE! Each time, I was given one story or another, then the Lab they claimed my order was sent to was now the blame. Then a little over a week ago, was told the lens came in after I called again,...Tammy told me she would Fedex them to me. So I waited, and still no lens, no frames that I gave them. I contacted my insurance company because this is wrong. I gave more than enough notice, that I was moving over 200 miles away. I pleaded for them to get my lens, all fell on deaf ears. Yes, this office should be investigated. How many people are going through this? Over a week ago, I was now asked if I have anything to use till I get my lens! Today she finally told the insurance co. That if I give my credit card number, she can Fedex it to me, that the Owner does not want to incur the expense. And for over a week now, she was telling me she would FedEx my glasses to me. Why the Lie? I EVEN HAD TO ASK FOR MY PRESCRIPTION. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE OPERATING THEY WAY THEY DO THERE. NOW THEY DONT EVEN WANT TO SEND ME THE LENS AND FRAME THAT TOOK THEM MONTHS. THIS IS WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!!! ..IS THIS THEIR NORMAL BUSINESS PRACTICE.????? WELL I AM GOING TO REPORT THIS.

    I had a very positive experience at New England Eye Care on Saturday. I had run out of contacts and had no appointment. The office manager got me in for an exam the same day I called. I was able to get contact lenses to wear that day and order a new supply of lenses. Had a very through exam with Dr. Kraus and was very happy with the staff at the office.

    I highly recommend Dr. Michael Kalustian, he is an excellent eye doctor. He performed a few exams and double checked everything prior to giving me a prescription for new glasses. He is very thorough and knowledgable. Usually doctors are always in a rush, I appreciate the fact that he took the time to explain things and answered all my questions. Thank you.
