  I got in and out pretty quickly except they made a mistake on my paperwork and that took longer to fix than it did for me to go in and pick up the trailer but other than that it was a good deal and a good company in the people that work there were pretty nice

  I recently bought a Purina bag of puppy food, the Pro Plan to be specific, to then open it and find maggots throughout the entire bag. For the 23 years I have owned dogs, I have never seen that. Although alarmed, I took the maggot sample and food bag to my local Petco store where I bought it (Petco on Mexico street in Denver). When I explained my concern for my puppy and sadness that the food had potentially harmed my puppy (he recently was very sick before I adopted him) it was hardly acknowledged; I was only reinburced for the Purina dog food that I bought. She also explained that the Purina company in Denver has been having many cases of the same situation. Purina, if this is reoccurring, why is this item still being sold? Petco, why would you continue to sell this product knowing it's harming your customers; and on top of that, not even a tiny apologetic gesture? I will not be using this brand ever again, nor the Petco located on Mexico Street in Denver.

  1 positive comment 1 negative comment. I just had to put my best friend down who loved me unconditionally, my choc lab who died too young of an anyrusm at 6 years old. He loved Purina and I felt like crying here. On a positive note, the smell that everyone complains about made me so hungry. No I never ate dog food but it smells good to me
