  As always, the entire staff was able to work together to get the best way forward for me. All the parts of the team worked with one goal and when I later had questions and concerns about the prescribed path forward, the questions and actions needed were quickly addressed. Much appreciated. PCP is Dr. Free.

  I came here today for severe stomach pain after two urgent care clinics told me to go to the ER. I felt very dismissed the whole time. I never got an actual diagnosis. The nurse I had was very nice, but I felt like the Doctor wasn’t listening to me at all. After he did my pelvic exam, I never saw him again. I had a nurse come take out my IV and gave me some paperwork explaining what “I might have” and was sent home still in severe stomach pain with no questions answered. Very disappointing. I need to be better at advocating for myself.

  So I went into the emergency room tonight. I got there at 5 and left at 9:30. I was never seen. I was having shortness of breath and I can't move my neck. I told them I was also running a 102° fever. They never checked during triage. I had went up to them about an hour into waiting and asked if they had any water or anything and they told me I wasn't allowed any since I would be taken back soon. By 9 I went to the front and said my breathing was getting worse and asked how much longer the wait was, they said they couldn't tell but they would inform the nurses. By 9:30 they stood up and called 4 people back. Every one of them got there after me. I went to the front and said that my breathing terrible, they called people back who got there hours after me. I understand that places are short staffed but either recommend going somewhere else so people can get actual help or make people aware they won't be seen for hours after they arrive.

  I was treated for a PE. Staff in the emergency room was great. I got upstairs and was treat rudely by my first nurse. I don’t know if it was my race or if she was just having a bad day but everytime I said something to her it was met with a rude comment. Other nurses were awesome. I was scared and they comforted me. I had a overnight doctor tell me if I went home I would die. That was scary. They also don’t ask if it’s okay for students to poke you. It’s beautiful people in this hospital but the bad out weighed the good. Me or my children will never be back. If it’s not a dying emergency please find another hospital.

  The staff in icu do not communicate with ER departments. Mistakes were made, and a child recovering from an accidental overdose was harmed. Moving forward, regular staff did not communicate between shifts, again, a child suffered from their lack of communications. As any parent would, I tried to transfer to a better medical facility, however, they were no longer accepting any transfers… We remain with incompetent staff members as currently it is, as sad as I am to admit, in The best interest of my child. I surely hope that the left hand learns what the right hand is doing in future interaction with their patients.
