::It's a really nice hotel considering the price and location. You'll use several modes of public transit to get to uptown Manhattan. The rooms have a kitchenette with dishes and silverware. The continental breakfast is what you'd expect from a usual hotel.

::Quiet spot! Got a first floor room and it was very homely and comfortable. It was appealingly well-appointed compared to a studio apt I rented years ago at a senior community. The price was much cheaper than comparable NY hotels. It contained two king-sized beds and sturdy, like-new wooden furniture, and the atmosphere did not wreak of any cigarette or musty room odor upon entering. Also, the room was bright and its layout was unique compared to many hotels I've stayed in. The kitchenette is located in the back area of the room and not near the entrance, as is typical. On entering, the beds are on the left; to the right is the bathroom area which comprises a wooden washstand with a unique square, shallow, white, ceramic sink located on top of it. There's enough space beside it to place toiletries. The area to hang clothing/coats is also located in this area. The toilet and tub are located separately from the location of the sink, with a door--which I think was neat. The room decor was also refreshing. Lovely pictures on the wall, color scheme of the walls are noteworthy. Even the carpeting seems new. The heating/cooling system worked well too. I've stayed at a Navy Lodge prior, but this one took the cake.

::Zero! Horrible customer service!! I had a confirmed room and attempted to check in tonight yet I was denied my room! The General Manager: Jennifer Sacks did not want to accommodate me. Their reservations number did not communicate with the front desk that I served 8 years and not 20 years. I drove from Long Island!! There was no courtesy , merely "Thank you for your service sir". So much for comrades. The joke is the front desk clerk stated that the GM had served previously. PATHETIC!!!

::A nice place to stay on Staten Island. My family always stays here when we go to NYC - it's perfect. The rooms are nice with a fridge and microwave and a stove. The breakfast is not great. You can take the bus to the ferry and the ferry into the city - about an hour. The transit passes are available at the MWR! Definitely reccomenf.

::The outside is nothing spectacular but it's not what I look for in a hotel anyways. The rooms were large with a nice sized mini kitchen. Bathrooms were nice and open as well. Rooms were clean and met the expectations. Staff was nice and helpful.
