  Wow. Place looked deserted. Prices were laughable. $5 lb for some apples. $7-8 for limp thin asparagus. $3+ per bell pepper. There was hardly anything in there. The protein aisle had just a few options .... it was a total waste of time.

  I felt like I was being watched by an employee in the store today and the security guard. He wasn't guarding the door when I walked into the store but he was there when I was leaving the store. And there were still other people in the store shopping. The security guard left his post at the front door and walked outside towards the back of the store after I got into my car. I've been shopping at this store longer than the old woman with bright pink lipstick has been working there. I know they have a theft problem but it would be wise to not target your paying customers and make them feel uncomfortable. This is the last thing I need after a long day at work. Going to the grocery store to pick up dinner or a snack shouldn't be stressful. I'd also advise putting more attention in the quality of your produce. There has been many times where I left the store empty handed (I didn't steal anything... I'm allowed to walk in a store and not purchase anything) and drove to the Natural Grocers in Tigard because the quality of their produce is better and they have a wider selection of items. The people that work in the beaverton store are not friendly.

  I love the name of the store. It was my first time in portland and wanted to go to an organic place. The shelves did not have much produce. The selection was very limited. I actually had to go to another grocery store to get what I needed.

  I enjoy concerts at the Alberta Rose. The big issue for me is how they greatly increase ticket prices at the door for shows. Staff is generally friendly.
