  Very helpful school staff. Online tax course is clear and concise, a couple of good reference books are also included.

  I work for a tax accountant and have prior tax experience (college) and found the course to be confusing, lacking structure, and bouncing all over the place. Taxes are a very precise and complex science, and I would recommend caution to anyone looking at this course. You are paying a lot for a binder with tax information that you can find on the internet (they got some of their info from here). Managed to get through the course (passed with A's & B's) but was not overly impressed. the text was "hit & miss" with info from 2003 thru 2016, very confusing. Problems did not have "completely worked out solutions" as advertised. The exams were mostly multiple choice and did not always cover chapter material. I signed up for an "on-line" course but received correspondence materials and had to mail all exams and received results(this consisted of a sheet with answers on it) via mail also. I did not receive enough envelopes for the mail correspondence. I had to send an email several times to get help with one problem and only got a reply after a full 50 days. The "expert, individualized" attention that they claim did not happen in my case. Two months ago, I sent a letter requesting a partial refund. I have not received a response.
