  Just had a pastel de nata ( custard cup ) from Natas&Bowls in Kearny. It was amazing! The pastel was perfectly balanced with a snappy buttery flaky cup that held the properly cooked nata. The key to the perfect nata is to have the custard browned on top without overlooking the rest. Natas&Bowls also it right! They also take a step beyond the traditional pastel de nata by incorporating Nutella and also Oreos into the nata. I had to try the Nutella. It was great! All you Nutella lovers should try it. And all of you pastel de nata lovers should be going to Natas&Bowls on Kearny Ave.

  Hungry but in the mood for something healthy and not too filling. I got the spinach and pineapple bowl. It was delicious! They were fine with substituting kiwi for blueberries (they gave me other options to substitute also). I would definitely return, but also suggest that they invest in a vegan protein add-on instead of only whey protein. After eating the bowl I feel satisfied, and I feel like I enjoyed a nice treat minus the guilt!

  Ok so, I do have to say it’s probably THE BEST açaí bowl out there! I have been to all the places around that has them ( Montclair, nutely, Newark...) and so far none of them compare! The quality is impeccable, I eat it almost every day and let me tell you it’s the same every day. They are extremely consistent with the quality of their bowl! You want more fruits? No problem! They customize it and tailor it to your liking! If you haven’t tried them yet, GO RIGHT NOW!!! I promise u won’t be disappointed!!!!
