  I simply regret moving into this county... all the Nassau county gov thinks about is whats in your pocket... trash... I wish i can give 0* Stars... Tampa is way better!!!

  There was a typo in my street address on the assessment dept's website, so I couldn't find my property. when I called in, the lady told me to just use the section, block, and lot #s. When I questioned her why the type cannot be corrected, she put me on hold, and periodically checked to see if I hung up already. With taxes after taxes collect, you would think the county can hire some minimally competent employees! She should be fired, for the attitude alone!

  Rude would be a nice word. Why is it that Nassau CO has the highest taxes with the absolute worst representatives in its offices being paid by those very same taxed homeowners? It's embarrassing how rude the employees of Nassau CO behave.

  I have been calling multiple times a day for a simple request. No one answers and I am automatically disconnected each time.

  No one ever answers the phone at this place. If I didn't get the letter I mailed certified, I wouldn't even know if it was delivered. I think I got one person to pick up the phone in the past 50 times I tried calling. That pretty much explains the government. Inefficiency, at its best. You'd figure in how much I pay in taxes, they would have someone picking up the phone more often. I'd settle for 1 our of 3 times I call. You'd sooner win the power ball, than get a person on the other line at this joint. They are big at automated messages that tell you nothing. Nice job, Nassau County (sarcasm).
