  So happy with the way they handled my step daughters hair cut! She has difficulty letting people touch her hair and today went so much better than expected!

  I was very shocked today as I have been a customer at this salon for a while and today, when I went in for my hair appointment, I was denied service. The reason that I was given as to why I was being discriminated against was that the owner had seen me on television the night before. I had been advocating for a social justice and civil liberties issue that I am personally passionate about, and was interviewed by some news channels. Neither during the newsclip nor in the salon had I behaved in any way other than with dignity and respect, nor had I even discussed my personal views with the salon owner on this matter. I am very unhappy to learn that this business would turn away a loyal customer based on prejudice. I also feel sick that I allowed such a prejudiced person to touch my children's hair.
