::They allowed my account to overdraft after I specifically opted out. After this I attempted five times to bring my account current, but the only response I was given was an automatic email saying I would be reported to an online system that would not allow me to open new accounts with any bank in the future.

::I have been with My Credit Union (formerly RBCU) for over 25 years. I have read some of the other reviews and I am flabbergasted with some of these. My experience experience has been nothing but stellar. I use the mobile app, in person, drive up and phone calls. Always have had a great experience with anyone I have interacted with and I keep an eye on my accounts for anything weird which you need to these days with identity theft! Ran across a couple of items this way and they took care of them for me! Awesome experience for me from day one! Love this place ❤️

::We have used My Credit Union (previously known as Richfield Bloomington Credit Union) for the past 25+ years. The service has always been stellar. Great customer service, great product offerings, and just overall GREAT. This last year has been a nightmare. First we opened a new savings account. This resulted in my phone numbers being switched around so verification texts were misdirected and our mailing address was incorrect. I updated all of these things myself online, but it was a hassle. Then I discovered that one of my bill pay accounts (that we have had set up for over 3 years) was changed from a check to an electronic payment. This would have been ok if it had worked. The payments showed as “succeeded” when I looked online. The payments went “somewhere”, no one seems to know where. It wasn’t until I called my creditor to find out why they were sending bills for things I had already paid that I found out what was going on. I was never informed that the transactions were changed, so I had no reason to check to see if they worked. Now I have a bill that has been turned over to a collection agency. I am mortified. I was told to setup a new account to pay this creditor. I did that, submitted the payment again and supposedly it went as a check (I will follow up to be sure they actually receive it) but the payee record has once again been changed from check to automatic! So I can’t use this account in the future or the money will go into limbo again. When I have called the help center I have been told I would get call backs. Has never happened. The most recent was today…I was to get a call from the third party outsourced company that is responsible for these bill pay changes. Never happened. We are considering moving our accounts. It’s a lot of work, but I feel like I can’t trust the transactions I am routing through their bank. Very sad to see a demise like this when they have remodeled or rebuilt all of their branches within the last couple of years, and changed their name with a lot of fanfare. Maybe they should have concentrated on customer service instead.

::The only reason I used any stars was because of the helpful friendly staff at RBCU. I have been banking here for almost 20 years. My chief complaint starts with policy changes and their sudden change to points instead of cash back on the credit card. I just closed my accounts due to the $400 worth of cash back I lost in 2018. Instead, I got an older model pair of headphones worth $80. It was that or a new knife set. If you really like being forced to shop out of a catalog to use your rewards points this is the place to bank! I had my card cloned and They called my phone at midnight and didn't leave a message. It all worked out in the end, but it would have been nice to stop the $4000 dollar charge at Dollar General in Kansas.
