Great place for pregame drinks and food. Always my first stop before game time. Good pub food, friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Mullens is the place to go before a Pirates game. They have $4 Bud light pounders all day everyday. Their cocktails vary from dreamcicle, beach comber and grape groove. They have amazing tots and giant pretzels which are always perfect before the game. Service was decent despite it being so busy. If you are looking for someone for an adult beverage that's cheap and close to the stadiums, Mullens is your place.

I live out of town but follow them on Facebook. It always looked like a place in had to go to if given the opportunity. Finally that chance arrived and I couldn't wait. However what I did have to wait for was my server who took about 15 minutes to finally great us. Had it been busy ok. But there was maybe 20 people in the place. We placed our order and I ordered cheeseburger sliders and tots. I ended up with cheeseburger sliders and fries. But our server was hard to find so I went ahead and ate the fries instead. The food was really good but the service really took away from it. I even watched another couple get up and leave after waiting more than 10 minutes for the same server. Maybe my expectations were a little too high but really I could find a similar dive bar right here in my home town. There really wasn't anything special about it.

Came here for a few beers, stayed for the whole night. Staff was great, drinks were not bad, prices were pretty cheap. I would not want yo come here during a game. I can see how this place would be a mad house. I am more of a hole in the wall kinda guy.

They have some good drink specials. However if you order a drink not on special they are pricey. I did not try the food, I went to listen to music and have a few drinks. If your looking for a place that's not too crowed on a Sat night, go here. But stick to the drink specials. Otherwise you will feel like your being ripped off paying $5 for a tiny well rum and coke. I ordered two shots and paid $12 without tip.
