  Tasty selection of food, much of it in tapas style. Waiters were knowledgeable, swift and amiable. Art and decor is worth a visit on their own. The music was was goldilocks right: right beat to create an air of expectation, not so slow to send you to sleep, not so fast to sound like a night club; loud enough to mask conversation on the next table, quiet enough to hear my friend.

  Very lively place to eat out with your girlfriends. The food is delicious and served hot. Not a lot of meal choices, however their cocktail menu and appetizers make up for it. The reason for 4 stars is because there is absolutely no parking near the restaurant.

  We've been here a few times and have had a similars pretty negative experience both times. The food is alright, but nothing to write home about. The service though is the real problem. We've been here a few times, and for some reason we keep getting the same server. We were seated and then left alone for about 15 minutes while our server took orders of folks who were seated well after us. When she did finally come over to take our order she was very rude and acted annoyed. I kept having to repeat myself because she couldn't hear me over noise, and she seemed very put out by our table. I don't know if that's just her mannerism or what, but we got the same treatment both times we've gone there. We won't be going back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. For a place that takes in so much business, you would think they would have a handle on their customer service.

  The food & cocktails were outstanding. The atmosphere was very unique & enjoyed the music. What I didn't enjoy was the service. We sat at the bar till the rest of our party arrived.....the bartender didn't make eye contact or greet us for over 10min. The hostess was fine. Our server left something to be desired too. (I know we're older & not your typical hip customers but we like good food so treat us like the rest of your tables.)

  Really cool vibe in Oakland, friendly people and great tasting menu. We had a reservation and still took over a half hour to get seated which was bothersome. Place was absolutely slammed on Friday night, but for good reason. Reasonable prices and good quality bites. Definitely a good spot to share a couple plates and drinks. Loved the beer choices from Iceland and other countries. We'll be back for the environment and good times - food/drink were good but nothing to rave about.
