  This was my first time using a moving company to move from one residence to another. Working with The Moving & Storage Center of Long Island was a wonderful experience. An associate came to my house and we did a walk through of everything I needed moved. He provided a written quote on the spot and I decided to contract with them. On the morning of the move the movers arrived on time, were professional and quite efficient. I initially had a fear movers might take long to stretch out the time they were charging me but I found that was not the case at all. They divided up what needed to be moved and rapidly packed up my house. I was doubly impressed with the unloading of the truck. It was efficient and everything was placed in the appropriate room. The bed was set up, the dining room table was put back together, and washer and dryer in the appropriate places. I was beyond impressed and would not hesitate to recommend The Moving & Storage Center of Long Island.

  I was very happy with the move we did with this company. Bob, the owner, was truly available. We technically had to do 2 moves since our new home wasn't ready - one into storage and then one out of storage. In both cases, the guys on the job were courteous and did a great job at handling the furniture. When they came to the new home, they really worked with me to place both boxes and furniture where I wanted. Nothing was broken! Orlando and Isiah were especially good. The estimate I was given was pretty much on target. I would have no hesitation in hiring this company :)
