The amount of times I've called for maintenance to come fix the hot water is ridiculous. I'm 100% positive any of the females working in the front office right now know exactly who I am because it feels like it's a daily routine, hop in the shower, water is cold, call in a work order, 4 days later the water is barely getting warm enough to be in longer than 5 mins. This is not including the negligence of a roach infestation. This week I found 2 huge roaches, last week saw 2 and week before that saw a few and my apartment isn't the only one, our neighbors a floor below few doors down have at least 12 roaches weekly! we aren't dirty people I can promise you I've spent more on lysol wipes and bleach in one week than I've spent in gas in a whole month. Yet the "pest control" sprints into the apartment sprays 2 vents then says it's all good! I have to micromanage and follow the guy around just to make sure he actually sprays the bedrooms/kitchen/living room. Very poor management or care for residents. I see new people looking around the area thinking of moving in and I tell them RUN ! Save your money because they will charge you for pest control even if they dont spray that month, they'll tell you to "just let the water run longer itll get hot" when that just racks up your water bill, the stove shocked me twice already and of course YOU GUESSED IT I still got the same stove no maintenance done on it. When you're moving out they charge you to pay for the carpet cleaning even if you left the carpet spotless so that way its clean for the next family to move in. Do not move into these apartments until they are better managed and better cared for. Till then save your time and find somewhere else.

I was in the process of building my house, my realtor recommended Mountain View since they have short leases and furnished apartments available. I rented a one bedroom apartment which was totally furnished, it was spacious and just really nice. The girls at the office were always very nice and even went out of their way to help me move some boxes when I was clearing the apartment. I would definitely recommend Mountain view!

If there was an option of doing no stars I would!! When i first moved in to the apartment i liked it the staff was nice and i enjoyed talking to them! And then they changed the staff and they became money hungry and the manger is the worst! We have to pay a trash fee which is them going around and picking up trash and dog mess and they never cleaned up the dog mess and was every where. Me and my husband stayed in a one bed room apt and it was nice just for me and him and then we moved out a year later and I took care of them aprt wasn’t nasty or anything and we had to pay 315 for the cleaning fee. So if i was u i wouldn’t stay in this aprt i would pay a little bit more to get better service!

The my husband and I live in 1 bedroom n 1 bath room. Its very nice for the two of us. The walk in closest great! We done a combined on our rent. We got furnished and utilities included so we pay 899.99 each month. We did this becouse this as our start time moving in together. He was stationed here and I was coming from my hometown which is 1900 miles away so we throught it would be perfect. Um we first got are keys and opened the door, it was dirty. Floors wasn't properly clean in the living room/kitchen/bath, there was spots of stains on the wall and the carpet has also stains and didn't look like its been cleaned at all or scrubbed. The furniture we have rented off of them ( they give you a couch, chair, table with lamp, small dinning table with 2 chairs, bed with mattress, 1 night stand with lamp and a dresser) its trash. It looks like goodwill or even you pick it off the street furniture. I knew it wasn't going to be greatest but it was a real down grade. They do provide you a tv in the living room (32in I believe the size) Just a BIG WARNING THOUGH. With them saying you get free WiFi/cable (which its very true) don't expect it being hooked up already when your moving in. You have to call the cable company and have your stuff hooked up. The maintenance guys are very nice but it takes them FOREVER to fix things in your apt so don't expect to have your things fixed that day or next day or week. The lady's inside are very nice, not too much of a problem there. The property is mostly clean every day and parking is good most days. All in all this place is good location especially when your new to El Paso. Your main stores are very close to get. Every place has its ups n down, opinions and of course bad exspercnces but no matter where you go. All in all if your looking for your first place to live at Mountain View Apartment not a bad place to start out.

After 2 years at these apartments I am editing my initial review. I had to deploy in April so luckily I got out of my lease. When I first moved in July 2015 the apartments were run down but the rent was good, the location was great and the then office staff were nice and fun. In the last year or so though the place is overrun with dogs and dog poop everywhere. Also the staff had changed. Rude, false people that will lie to you without batting an eyebrow. The office assistant manager is the worst of the bunch. Do not trust her. Also, document your move in with pictures and video as they will try to stick you when you leave. Read your contract. Also, Texas had.specific tenants rights. Look them up on line. There are a lot better apartments available in El Paso. Save yourselves some grief and stay away from these apartments.
