::The 2 people at the front desk were professional, courteous. Good parking and I don't want to forget the ice machine.

::This was a terrible experience. The man working the office was rude, our room was disgusting, it smelled like smoke when I paid for non smoking, the door didn’t properly close, the locks didn’t latch correctly, the trash cans had no liners, little to none left of toilet paper, no hot water, our sheets were DIRTY, WiFi didn’t work, I will NEVER stay with Motel 6 and I won’t recommend to anyone.

::Clean room. Very basic. No frills. Able to keep car in lot the day I checked out. I like that there is no charge for parking. Short walk from the metro. Sits back from the road a bit more than other Rt. 50 motels--a good thing. Overall quite reasonable given DC hotel prices. Would benefit from some security enhancements for entry of pedestrians and cars for additional guest security--ideas shared with management. Location is already gated in large part.

::when we arrived with other couple, the place was in shambles. The motel was undergoing renovations, the furniture was piled in the parking area with other materials. TThere was no ice, however they did manage to fill a cooler with ice. Same with coffee and other amenities promised. We were told prior to booking that the place was clean and comfortable. This went on for our entire stay. Never experienced such an abysmal place to stay.

::The room was dirty. We had to ask for more towels. The housekeeping barely came by to collect trash. We had to go outside and get their attention. The front desk attendant never answered the phone. One of my room keys stopped working two days before checking out. The person at the front desk said he fixed it but it was the same issue. I went to the front desk to get the key fixed, the front desk attendant looked at me through the window on my way inside and continues to go to the back and I to ring the bell like he didn't just see me. The spread was extremely thin and caused me to be extremely cold and uncomfortable. The heater in the room was extremely noisy and turn off and on every two minutes, making even more noise. The cable channels didn't really work. The ice machine never had ice in it. There was a lot of activity during the night. I go to school in the area and my mom came to visit and we were extremely uncomfortable because we thought some sort of prostitution was going on due to the night visits. There was also a lot of weed smoking. There's no refridgator or microwave. If I had more time to plan my mom's visit, we wouldn't have stayed there. We were planning on changing hotels on the second day, but unlike most hotels they didn't hold the money, they immediately took the funds. It wasn't as close to union station as I thought, we should've stayed somewhere else even if it was the other Motel 6 on Georgia Ave. I will never stay there again or recommend it.
