  spent one night.. then had over 300 charged on my debit card a couple days later....someone got a hold of my card info used it to reserve rooms at the motel. called lady at front desk. I informed her someone was using my card info to reserve rooms there.. She told me I wasn't registered in any room? No $ht. Notified my bank of the situation.

  The hotel grounds that sell for a little run down, and the people who reside and stay at this hotel or a little shady. But other than that the management and the staff themselves, are pretty cool people and are very friendly. General manager went out of her way several times to make sure I was satisfied with my stay.

  We will Never stay at the motel 6 in Harvey Louisiana ever again I call be before we arrived no one would answer the phone called many times. we ask for extra pillows I have two individuals that have to be propped up just sleep.they tell me that they had no extra pillows that the hotel is booked I understand that there was a festival going on but American Disability Act says that you posed to have equipment to accommodate the ones that are in need. So we went to Walmart and got some pillows for ourselves. This motel 7 was so ran down they had condom all over the parking lot. Our bathroom wasn't clean. Had dirt in the shower and pubic hair on the toilet.

  While the front desk lady was Very nice the hotel is falling apart there is roaches everywhere and drugs galore. I have lived around this "motel" most of my life and watched it decay. I really like the motel 6 line of hotels but this one should not be allowed to carry its name. I wish that the corporate office would go visit that place. The prices are way to high for the quality of the rooms.

  I’m a person that understands that you get what you pay for. We booked a room for 2 nights over New Years 4 weeks in advance. Everything was booked up except for $400/night rooms on Bourbon St. A little too rich for my blood. Upon arrival we were informed that none of the rooms had heat, although the office was pretty toasty. The reasoning was they were installing new units and all of the rooms have not been completed and all that were have been occupied. We asked for extra towels and blankets. The towels because they were the size of your average hand towel and the blankets because of the heat situation. Our towel request was met immediately while we were told “maintenance” would bring our extra blankets. They never came. We returned to the room late New Year’s Eve / early New Years Day after a long night only to discover there was no hot water! To give you a feel of the situation the temperature high for duration of our trip was 34 degrees. I understand that it was a $60/ night room but I would like to be warm. It was essential “glorified camping”. Nothing to do with the service really but the room door had 1/2 inch crack between it and the frame which conveniently let a nice cool draft in the room. It also let a little sunlight in for ambient lighting. The desk attendant appeared to be fairly young and couldn’t really offer much compensation. Take my advice and skip on this unless it’s a last resort. On the bright side they didn’t have bedbugs....I could go on but hopefully you get it.
