::I would give a 5 but my fish was not quite to par this trip. Maybe too late after lunch and had been sitting. No more bowling alley, bummer! Not same experience but everything has changed after COVID. Will be better next time I'm sure of it, a family favorite place!

::This is the first time i ever written a review but today we went to have lunch and my wife got the fish and chips and fish was old and seemed reheated, the fries were cold and we to ask for another batch, the roll wasn't even warm and to top it all off the waitress never came to check in on us for refills or anything. I also requested a fruit bowl and all i got was watermelon. I have been coming here for many years and i have never had this bad of food or service. Totally disappointed.

::Pleasantly surprised, the food is great! I actually LOVED their soup of the day (veggie with beef)! We had a lot of food (portions are big for omelette, pancakes, etc) for a total of $22 😃

::Love this place i had the fish and chips my girl had the grilled chicken sandwich and the kids had chicken strips....FIRE!!!! Servers are also very nice...

::Mossman’s coffee shop and catering have been a Bakersfield staple for close to 60 years. They have a second location in the south/west, on Wible rd, south of Planz rd. Someone once described Mossman’s coffee shop as a no thrill, but excellent food coffee shop. I ordered bacon and eggs with pancakes. It was delicious. Two pancakes could feed two people, they are huge. Mossman’s is know for their delicious fish and chips, best biscuits and gravy and large pancakes.
