The parts they charged me $800 to replace were broken when I picked up my car. I replaced them myself for $160, working great now.

Can a review be rated no stars? Maybe not, well, I guess the one star can be them getting the car to start once so I could drive away. It started when my very reliable Rock of a car wouldn't start, I called AAA and the AAA guy said it was definitely the starter, he told me to keep the car running. I took it to Moss motors where I told them that AAA guy told me I needed a new starter. Moss motors said AAA guy was not a mechanic and I would get a new battery (AAA guy had said the battery was OK). I told them I had limited finances and they said I definitely didn't need a new starter. A week later my car didn't start again and AAA guy said it was absolutely the starter. I said I would like to be credited for the money for the battery I didn't need towards the starter that was crucial. They said they'd do something. They examined the car and guess what, the starter needed to be replaced another $450, but then they said I'd need a sensor, another $523 and while I was doing the sensor I really should get the serpentine belt replaced and I could be out of their shop tomorrow for a whopping $1,600. They said just break out a credit card. When I said I didn't have that kind of money or credit card and could I make payments the CEO-owner said there were 4 owners including himself and the answer was always no. He then demanded that my car be out of his shop the next day if I wasn't getting work done the next day. He said he would call me if he got the car running and I could pick up and if it didn't run he said "Well, you have AAA don't you.?" What a nightmare!!! Never go to Moss motors they not only will Rob you but they do it with a serious lack of compassion and respect for the customer.

Good work at a decent price, accurate estimates and timely completion. What more can you ask for?

Unless you want to overpay, don't go here. Everything is at least 200 bucks more than anywhere else I have ever taken my vehicles. I've had two experiences here, both were vehicle inspections and in both cases they added up a lot of work that the cars obviously did not need. Good tires were rated bad, oil changes were claimed to be needed when in fact I had the DAY BEFORE just changed the oil. Not only are they overpriced, by at least 33%, they add up work that is not needed. Beware.
