  I've been here for two years and most of the teachers are nice and care about teaching students. This year (2017-18) the way of learning has been stressful. It's confusing and making students stressed out as well as not challenging us or teaching us many new things. We have had a problem with bullying, but we're trying to get better, and I overall love how connected we are as students and teachers, but we have a ways to go.

  Does not have a good relationship with the community, which is key for most schools, not a priority for Morey. Instead they post false statements on cars that they shouldn't park there claiming that the Denver Police Department will fine them, which side note the DPD had no idea that was going on.

  I came to this school hoping for a learning experience that challenged me however the culture is really kind of a mashup of trying to look cool and egotism. I honestly cant stand it but its the only school wit a HGT magnet program so I'm stuck until highschool. The math program is a disaster. I only know one teacher who stuck around for more than a year with the cat vomit that is teach to one.

  I would like to thank the administrators and staff for allowing to observe and help out with a few classes while visiting Denver. I have been an educator for over 30 years and was very impressed at the way Morey helps all of their students. The teachers are always positive and have high expectations for all of their students. More important however, was the visible care and concern I witnessed while watching teacher and student interactions. You guys are doing a great job!! Keep it up!
