  Our wedding cake was delicious and everyone said they loved it. It came out really pretty and looked exactly like the picture I gave them. Kaylna was very helpful and worked with us very well. We also added cake pops to our order at the last minute and they worked those in and they came out great also. I would definitely recommend this bakery for any event. Thanks More than Cakes!

  For starters their new location is on W.19th St. in the Heights. I encountered this "bakery" for my ten year wedding anniversary. Thinking that since this place was in the Heights I would receive quality service, but I was far from wrong. One problem I had is for a business to never answer their "business" phone. It seemed as though she screened calls. When she finally returned my call, we made an appointment for a cake tasting, and that part went well. She seemed to be professional and knowledgeable about cake designing. The HORROR came in the week and the DAY of my event. We needed to confirm the pickup up time for the cake, in which I had to do because she wanted to charge me a $150 for delivery. Keep in mind my cake only costed $265. Moving forward, she kept EMAILING me to ask about the pickup time instead of just PICKING-UP-THE-PHONE to call me as I requested more than once. When we FINALLY confirmed the time, my husband was sent on a wild goose chase because they were UN-FA-MIL-IAR with the area. When they met, the cake was sitting in the back of her trunk with NO covering or box. Being that I needed a cake for my event, my husband took it. We were late for our own event fooling with these dimwits! Not to mention the cake completely SLID off the tier RIGHT in the car! I was I infuriated! The cake had started to melt! I tried to think fast and remain calm, but it was a mess! I had to try and serve the cake in slices. I took pictures, but needless to say the owner Barbara REFUSED to answer my calls, drug her feet in responding to my emails, and I finally met with her almost three weeks after my event. She refused to take any responsibility, felt that there was no problem with the cake being uncovered and she offered NO apologies or resolution. I will be taking legal action against this sham of a business.
