::Plain little park with a baseball field in the middle, and a little kiddie play section tucked in the corner. A few homeless people are out there as some has said, but they do not bother anyone. It is a nice little place for a short jog and I favor it ebcasue it has sand to cushion the knee/foot joints when jogging. I have not been in the bathroom, but by sounds of flushing and running water I assume it's workable.

::Monterey Park is one of loneliest parks in Phoenix. Quiet mornings and generally quiet in the evenings. The park isn't neglected, but doesn't receive it's share of love and care. Unfortunately this is a trend with parks in Phoenix. Monterey Park does host games which hours are unknown, but park hours are 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM. One specific advantage is due to low traffic, the bathrooms are generally in good condition.

::Smaller of city parks. Known for its Speegack 50X Huffers, Bowl Rollers and Whiffle Dust Sniffers however is Ok place during St.Mary"s Game Night. Monterey Park has limited facilities a Soccer Field Area and a Baseball/Softball Field. Closes early as it is not the place or area to be late at night.
