  This place is disgusting. From the moment you walk in, it is clear that no one cares. The entire staff mosies around like they work at McDonald's while sick patients are waiting around neglected for hours. It's also filthy. I'm talking pee on the toilets and all over the floor. Literal garbage lying around. Doctors and nurses arguing right in front of patients. If you care about HIPAA, you'll be the only one in here who does.

  The er really needs expansion and better staffing. It's terribly overcrowded and the medical staff are overtaxed. There are beds everywhere you can imagine... its like a MASH unit in the military. The wait times are ridiculous and some Drs and nurses are incompetent. They dont have time to explain anything and tests take hours! A family member died because I feel the dr misdiagnosed and mismedicated causing a heart attack ...Horrible! Something needs to be done. The residents of the Bronx deserve better care and treatment. Its shameful.

  The ER is one of the worst place in humankind. if there is place for 3 they would bring in 6 with no place to move! Nurses are careless and Doctors will show up 15 hours later unless the patient is actually dead! Staff members are careless and ignorant. Lack of attentions towards patients and behavior is something they should be educated in. While nurses are taking care of a patient that has no right stage of mind, other nurses would mock and make a joke out of it! Worst place to bring my dad and worst experience I have comes acrosssed throughout my life. The days I have spent were the days felt worst than being in hell! Very disappointed and dissatisfied!

  just very upset that they would not let my mom and I be with my sister while she was ready to have her first baby. We travel from maryland to NYC 4-5 hours in the car driving and tired. It's just ridiculous, big hospital but not conviniente when you want to stay with your love ones.
