  This is the southern terminus of Indy's flagship recreational trail. It's listed in Rails-to-Trails Conservancy's mobile app "TraiLink". Here is found a trivergence of three trail terminii: Monon - stretching 17 miles nearly straight north into Southern Hamilton County. This low stress cycling and foot path follows a railroad right of way through transitional and traditional neighborhoods touching near more places of interest than can be easily noted here. The terminus itself is accessed from the north side of 10th street. Use the signal crosswalks at either side of the overpasses for safety's sake. After a brief incline the trail is flat for many miles ahead. The Cultural Trail - Mass. Ave. spoke to the west and south leading into Indianapolis thriving downtownn Pogues Run Trail - this winds it's way about a kilometer into the neighborhoods to the west leading the way past warehouse artisan shops to arrive at Spades Park straddling the namesake waterway Pogues Run within sight of a library. Unfortunately public parking is not readily available at the terminus but many options are available within easy cycling distance or the walking distance of an avid hiker. The Mass Ave Cultural district has an abundance of food, drink and nightlife and is a great place to fellowship after a ride.
