Worst customer service of any hotel I have ever encountered. Management is awful. They don't run your card when you reserve the room but instead wait a month and run it without telling you. I didn't have a chance to up the limit on my card and it got declined and I wasn't told anything or asked for another method of payment. They then cancelled my reservation and did not tell me. I had to call and fix EVERYTHING myself and received no compensation or help on any of it. Once we got there the service was just as bad. Took an hour and a half past check in time for them to have my room ready. I was in a rush. Front desk was extremely rude and I felt completely disregarded the entire time. No one did anything at any point to make us feel welcome. No one greeted us or offered us any help. We were treated like trash. Person who checked in in front of us had similar issues. Their room was downgraded without their knowledge and then the hotel did absolutely nothing to fix it. DO NOT VISIT THIS HOTEL IT IS AWFUL. It was stress the entire time we were there to just have the amenities a holiday in would have. I expect when I spend this much on a room I get amazing customer service but no. In fact I received almost no service at all except what I had to beg them to fix. The literal only good thing about it was the showers. Management is awful, It is run like a mess. I received no compensation for any of my troubles. They will screw you over and leave you alone to fix it.

*This review is for the weekend pool party, not the hotel.* Went for a Sunday afternoon pool party for a celebration with a few friends. Booked a cabana about 2 weeks ahead of time and put down a credit card for the $1000 minimum. Called the morning of to confirm our reservation with the concierge before we headed over, all was fine. Then we arrived and the hostess said we were not on the cabana list. It was not busy (about a third of the cabanas and pool chairs were open) yet we all had to stand at the door looking like fools for about 30 minutes while they figured it out. We finally get seated and hostess did provide a round of drinks for the inconvenience, but placing and receiving our orders took excruciatingly long. Ordered a ton of food and bottles but our cabana had no table; requested one from a server (as we gestured to a group of several unoccupied tables) and he said he could not bring one. So 3 of our girls in their bathing suits had to drag a heavy metal table across the pool area so that we did not have to eat lunch on our laps. The bay view was nice but the crowd remained thin all afternoon, music was way too quiet - definitely not the upbeat Miami Beach pool party scene we had been so excited for. Definitely better options out there for your money.

The Mondrian Hotel is beautiful however there is no clear sign in the front so it is a little bit confusing to figure out where it is from the street. The pool was beautiful and well-maintained especially when it does get busy and crowded of the staff is wonderful. They're currently doing construction so it can be noisy if you were in the spa or in the hotel rooms.

One of my fave new hotels in South Beach. The rooms are spacious and the service is impeccable. After a mixup with our reservation, Tamara went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. We also did a cabana rental, which was totally worth the cost. I will definitely be returning. Thanks for the hospitality!

Profoundly rude. Purchased day passes, as my friends and i always do. We called ahead to reserve and they said there was plenty of availability. When we arrived at 10am, there was no seating available, and they said if we wanted a large lounge we would have to meet a $500 minimum. Don't think they understand the concept of a day pass. We have had wonderful experiences at the Ritz, National, and Delano, were the staff is friendly and classy. Staff was seriously unfriendly, in a city where we have thoroughly enjoyed every other venue. Don't judge South Beach by the Mondrian. Not at all a 4 star experience. Only their prices are.
