  Renters BEWARE! Just had to take a shower with a bucket full of water I boiled in the kettle. What a nightmare to live in the Monaco. Can’t wait for my lease to end.

  The operation is just a disaster. Elevators break at least once a month. Today there is no hot water. It happens earlier this morning and the office lady only left one key, which means they ‘kindly’ prepared one apartment for all residents in this building to take a shower. Ridiculous

  Elevators down, no hot water. Before moving in, you should know that elevators are constantly not working. Today - no hot water in the entire tower.

  Heat system malfunctions through out winter. The AC is old/poorly designed that doesn't work during winter. The experience is horrible when it is bitterly cold outside. We have requested 3 times for the fix so far (only 2 months into winter this year). It works briefly after each maintenance for a few days, then stops working again. The instruction is to "give the AC an hour to warm up and keep it running all day long". While this instruction is questionable itself, we didn't touch the AC after each fix and kept it running. It still doesn't prevent the failure, not at all. The AC starts to only blow cold air after a few days. We even tried to help warming up the AC with an electric heater. It doesn't work! I have talked to a few friends in the same building and they are all enduring the same problem. I give it two stars because the general experience is fine. The management team is reasonable and the community is friendly. The heat system during winter is just a complete disappointment. For anyone planning to live here throughout winter. Just don't count on the built-in heat system, get an electric heater yourself.

  While I was looking for an apartment for rent in Jersey City area, first, it was the kindness of the leasing office staff that got me. Then the real effort to try to find something that fits my needs and preferences. So, I decided to stay here, but, the kindness, interest and effort does not go away as soon as you sign the lease agreement. Ms. Janice, the leasing office manager is always there, for anything you need. You really feel the love an passion she puts in her work, and to all residents. Now living here, I see that this love and passion is everywhere... when you get into the reception and are greeted with a big smile, when you go to the pool and have a very kind and attentive lifeguard, when you leave in the morning and the cleaning staff wishes you a nice day... It really feels like my second family away from home. Even when you have problems, what´s normal in such a big building, you can see that all staff makes every possible efforts to solve them and to minimize any inconvenience. If you have any real issue, go to the leasing office, and they surely will make everything to help you. Apartments are well cared, as the amenities, and depending on the unit you get, views are amazing. Convenient location very close to supermarket, mall and public transportation.
