::I ordered the spicy broth and flat iron combination with lamb and pork belly add ons. Broth was delicious. Our meat cuts were perfectly cut and displayed. They were big slices too. My husband ordered the brisket. All 4 meats that we had was soft and delicious. The vegetables were fresh too. Service was excellent, waiters and waitresses were very attentive and accommodating. I wish it wasn't so expensive otherwise we would come more often. But quality of food and service made it comparable. I also wish there were more table space since it can get crowded when doing hot pot. There were so many other dishes I wanted to try, so it looks like I'll have to go back!

::I had been a regular customer a different location of this restaurant . But this Irvine location Service and the food quality declined ! 1)The Quality of salmon very disappointing. Each pieces looks like a "throwaway" Quality at supermarket ! Very Small portion with all kind of triangle shapes & uneven cut ; one thick another is thin! 2)The dressing became so sweet than before, taste like sugar syrup . 3) Waited long time for table then waited over 15 min to have our meat delivered to us, after we remind the waitress. The quality of food and the Service declined here , and not consistent at different locations.

::Wish this place was closer to Anaheim I'd be coming here more often. The servers are really great. The environment is lively but busy. There is a good variety of soup bases. I'd say probably about 7 or so. I decided to get the spicy sukiyaki base which was not as sweet as I've had at other places, but still delicious! The proteins selection was a wide range from brisket, to chicken, to even lobster with sizes ranging from small to XL and one more than XL, I think it's called the sharing portion. However I ordered the Mokkoji cut (beef) in Large so I was plenty full afterwards. Almost to the point where I had stop eating, I was so full. Needless to say if you're really hungry going with the medium to large serving will most likely stuff you to the brim. The prices are VERY reasonable for what they are serving, so come by and check this place out. Make sure you arrive about 30-45 min before the time you want to eat dinner though as there is usually a sign up sheet.
