::At first you’re thinking this doesn’t look very good but it was actually a decent place. There are people sitting outside their rooms but they are harmless. It was quiet and clean. Price was good. Would stay here again.

::I have stayed at Uptown many nights, and I’ll stay again when I travel to the Springs. If you’re looking for an old school, comfortable, clean, convenient, affordable place to stay, Uptown is a good choice. John, the owner, will take good care of you, All of downtown Colorado Springs is within walking distance.

::Stayed here with my Dad as part of a "transitioning Veterans" program and was probably the WORST hotel experience I've EVER had! We had a roach in our room The first day we checked in. The housekeepers and maintenance man were the BEST part about the place. All the staff lives on site which is convenient. If you can avoid it, DO NOT deal with the front office manager!! He is nosey, rude and yells CONSTANTLY! I gave the location 2 stars because ideally it IS close to downtown. However, there is also a tremendous amount of homeless people that frequent the area because of it. If I had the choice, I'd exhaust ALL options before having to stay here.

::Stayed here last night. It was completely booked and near silent all night except for the occasional sounds of the highway. John at the front was an absolute delight to talk with and very friendly, he got donuts for the people staying and I really wasn't expecting that. The room decor was really cute and there was an air conditioner and a heater which both worked really efficiently. Basically, if you're looking for a nice, quiet, basic motel? This is the stay for you. I travel a lot and this one is one of the better small motels.
