  I've been going to this office for at lest 8 years now and while I've always felt they over priced for the frames I was ok with the doctors and service overall. Today my oldest daughter goes in for an exam and is basically bullied to pay a portion of a bill my OTHER DAUGHTER had from 6 years ago when I was never notified of the balance the multiple times we've been there in the last 6 years. My daughter who was being bullied is not the subscriber of the insurance policy and is not the patient the bill was for so she is NOT responsible for her sisters bill. When I spoke to Maria in the office she blamed it on a new system they now have. Again they were refusing to give my daughter her prescription today unless she paid on her sisters balance. So unfortunately I will never be going back to this eye doctor. I hope their handling of this bill today was worth all of the money they've gotten from us and our insurance over the last 8 years and the potential for them to gain more. Very poor customer service and treatment of patients. You should never bully your patients into paying a bill that does not belong to them and deny them a prescription for something they need. BEWARE OF THIS OFFICE!!

  My family has been going here for years. I am baffled at all of the responses. Not only are we always welcomed but as I wait in the waiting room I hear them welcoming others as they come in. The staff is more than helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. The doctor even goes beyond the regular exam to do extensive tests on my husband as he is diabetic. The office is very clean and Dr. Saferstein is extremely professional.

  Went there to get thin Verilux lenses only. They gave me the thickest possible lens. Went back, no good. I decided to get a pair online with the same script. Very happy, thin lens, sharper vision and $150 cheaper which included frame.

  My aunt got new glasses that had to be redone 3 times..and she still can't see out of them. She asked for her money back and they only offered to refund the frames...I'm calling the news stations to out these idiots for ripping off 96 year old ladies..Do not use these morons!
