My wife and I have been to Mita’s twice, with our most recent visit coming on a weekend when our son was away, so we used a couple of hotel rewards nights and stayed in downtown Cincinnati as a mini-staycation. We didn’t have reservations and it was on Saturday night, so we sat at the bar, no big deal - the bar has plenty of space and a friendly staff. Mita’s is a small plates restaurant, so don’t expect large portions of what you are ordering. That said, the dishes are excellent. Apologies for not remembering the Spanish names of the dishes - the corn fritter topped with chorizo and queso fresco is outstanding. The fish taco was outstanding. Shrimp ceviche also very good. The bar menu is expansive and offers a wide variety of blended drinks, wine and beer. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and has been busy on both of our visits, which is a good sign. Highly recommend for a nice intimate dinner downtown.

The food was good and service excellent. Only reason I gave only 4 stars was because paella was way too salty. The best part was the honey chamomile ice cream. Omg it was fantastic.

Fantastic atmosphere and great location for this tapas restaurant. The duck confit and seafood and hominy stew were my favorite. Flan for dessert was among the best I've had. Service was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to another visit.

A one-of-a-kind fine dining experience, we enjoyed every moment of our evening. The menu (and atmosphere) is upscale and refined but still easily accessible and (surprisingly) large group friendly. We're sure to come back again. And don't skip the dessert! Their pastry chef is some kind of culinary genius.
