Very helpful on our tour of downtown Minneapolis. In fact our visit wouldn't have been anywhere near as wonderful had we not found out about the skyways downtown at the information center. The woman was enthusiastic, welcoming and had all the information we needed to really make our trip more enjoyable. Maps, directions, etc. and not from behind a booth.

While I sort of felt weird visiting a tourist gift shop for the city I live in, I got over that feeling quick. They've got a pretty decent spread of locally made stuff from all over the city, not just made-in-china googahs.

Comfortable. Clean. Spacious rooms. Safe. Breakfast large variety from made to order eggs/omelets. Breads, meats, oatmeal, fresh fruit, juices, soda and coffee. Great location to Target Center, University of MN, freeways. Highly recommend.

Mary Tyler Moore statue- need I say more?! This is the first time I visited a city's visitor center and I think I will look for the visitor center in every city I go to now. It was a wonderful experience with happy, customer service oriented people. They had an event going on about ditching your car for more bike trips to work and it was interesting, informative, and I got free cookies! Took my picture at the statue, found a wonderful cookbook, and found souvenirs from my vacation. Loved this visitor center experience.

Most European sport and accents in Minneapolis. Nice whiskey selection, most clients don't notice the bourbon list because of the scotch and Irish whisky, but three usually some pappy and Blanton. Also lots of taps of English cask and local beers. All around comfortable relaxed atmosphere.
