  My kid works here and I've known the owners since they were kids in a band and I worked at The Grand Emporium. I'd have to give them five stars even if they didn't deserve 'em.

  My boyfriend's band was playing upstairs, and I was very disappointed in their advertisement of the 3 bands playing. There were around 30 people in the bar downstairs after the set was over, but only 6 or 7 people upstairs watching the band. From downstairs, you cannot even tell that there is a band playing upstairs. I am fairly certain that if the d.j. or bartender downstairs had mentioned the band, that more people would have at least checked it out. Additionally, the area upstairs just looks like someone's apartment, and the bathroom is horrendously disgusting. The downstairs bathroom was very nice.

  Good place for drinking, I saw online that Heatwave was performing there and for free. I so excited and thinking of the old school R&B Band Heatwave. Told the wifey we rushed over to beat the anticipated crowd, to find out it was a DJ called DJ Heatwave But the beer was cold...

  It's really small there. But their drink prices are big. Depending upon who's behind the bar most of the staff is pretty snooty for no good reason.
