  Estephany was an incredible server yesterday. I am not sure how long she's been doing this, but she had all of the timing perfect. She was very attentive with our table to see if we needed anything else, etc. I ordered a second drink and it didn't come soon - no problem I experience this at many bars, especially when it's busy. If it happens enough it will keep me away from the place, but I experience this often so it doesn't really bother me too much....... she says "let me check on your drink". She went to the bartender to see what's going on. Bartender acknowledged it. Some moments later drink still didn't show up (again, I had no problem - it was busy). She was persistent in finding out where my drink was and she went back to the bar to find out. By this time I'm impressed. I didn't have to do this myself. The drink came out almost immediately as she mentioned it to the bartender for the second time. The fact that she recognized the problem and investigated before I did is huge. It's honestly refreshing that our servers was sooo on top of the situation. Thank you for the excellent service !!

  Fantastic Cantina with great food and great beverages. It happens to be outdoors which may be a put off to some people, but trust me it is amazing and they make efforts to make sure it's covered for weather. The food is destination-worthy. In terms of Mexican food, it's probably the coolest place to eat in Sacramento. Yes, other restaurants do have good food, but they just don't have the ambiance that this place has. Drinks are rad too.

  The food is really really really really good. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The service is the quality I would expect from a newer restaurant still working out the kinks. They are quick though and really trying hard. Expect long waits, as the place is on the smaller side, and a huge crowd of people. It's also very loud in the restaurant. The drinks are not very strong, but they are tasty. The only bad part is the bartenders are rude and won't acknowledge you unless your a tall white guy or a half naked woman.

  This place is a bar nothing more. We waited 25 minutes once seated and only were helped when we flagged down a frantic employee. Once we placed our drink orders we were given pork rinds which was a nasty surprise and again waited a long time to get our drinks... which were watered down and had more ice than anything. Some time later the food runner finally showed up with our food and we simply asked her if we could get forks and napkins, she said she’d get our waiter. By this point our drinks were empty and a loud shirtless man was just roaming around as if he was still at a frat party and no staff seemed to mind. After we were given extra napkins from the table next to us (they too seemed annoyed) we flagged down our panicking waiter again and asked for our check. It really seemed like they were understaffed and undertrained with no true guidance from a manager. The food wasn’t good at all which would be expected for ‘just a bar’ but this place seemed more than that. Bummer.

  The atmosphere was great. The food was decent. It was like try hard Mexican food, If you want authentic Mexican food this is not the place for you. There is no roof so you might want to cover up or go when it's a bit warmer. They have heaters but if you're not lucky enough to sit next to one then you'll be freezing. Overall I would go back if I was in the mood for different take on Mexican food.
