Food was prompt and service was also fast. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. We were in and out within 25 minutes which was great as we had a day trip planned to the DIA. The portions were plentiful and tasty. The atmosphere was average, nothing too exciting but also nothing boring. We would definitely come back here for brunch!

My wife and I love trying new places for our breakfast dates. Today we tried Zef's. There was plenty of seating options so of course we took the booth. I like that there are tv screens on to enjoy the morning news or sports. We were quickly welcomed by our waitress. I had the spinach omelette which was pretty good. I saw the waitress bring an order to another table. They ordered the skillet. It looked amazing. I know what I am ordering on my next visit.

Great menu and fast service! We went on a Friday morning for breakfast. The only negative is that my husband said his skillet had a little too much cheese, but otherwise, a great option if you're in town!

Midtown Zef's had become one of my go to breakfast places in Detroit... until this morning. My wife and I went for a late breakfast, ordering pecan pancakes and Chicken (wing dings) and waffles. When my wife bit into her wing, it was still cold near the bone. "That's gross!" was our reply. The staff took the wings and upon inspection, the wings that were returned were the same tired wings from before, just refried (her fried-over bite was the evidence). What made it worse was that this culinary misstep was not corrected on our bill. I normally don't leave reviews, so i hope this becomes a teachable moment for whomever was the cook on January 14th between 12p-1p, as well as the wait staff (who were all pleasant). 100% cooked wings are a great thing!
