::Food alone gets 4 stars but the service was absolutely terrible. Walked in and stood for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Only about 4 or 5 tables were occupied, by the way. We were seated and sat for another 15 minutes before we even received menus or ordered drinks. She totally forgot she even seated us and asked what we were waiting for, then took our order. After we ordered the only time we saw the waitress again was when we needed our check. The food was so good, I would have ordered some to go, but I was worried it would take forever. So we paid and left.

::This place looks like it's running by people from Japan. Food tastes pretty good and I've tried many ramen places (LA, New York etc) and so far this place is the best. There are some downsides. (Cost of the food and a Asian version of a Nazi flag) The food is expensive. $15 for a noodle isn't funny. Also they hang a Japanese rising sun flag which has similar meaning of a Nazi flag. Think about a restaurant with a Nazi flag. Will you go there? I think they should put down their flag because that's the flag for war criminals.

::Omg! Such good food. Our waitress was so nice and explained everything on the menu that we had questions about. We will be back! 🍲🍣

::Don't come for the atmosphere, come for some great ramen with a friend or two. All the ramen were $10+, but the portions were quite large. We got two sushi rolls as an appetizer, essentially, and they were decent but the noodle soup was excellent. It certainly feels like a stop for college students to grab some dinner, which suited me just fine.

::I absolutely love this place. Sushi is fresh and you cannot beat their happy hour prices. We come here 2-3x a month and can order 5 rolls for $25-30 dollars. Ramen is also delicious and waiters are friendly and great with kids. Best sushi place in STL!
