  If I could put a negative star, I would! I had cataract surgery at Mid-Manhattan in March of 2015. All went well and I was pleased with the center. Had to pay $273 on day of surgery. In May of 2016, I received a past due notice in the amount of $1,092! I called their office immediately to arrange a payment plan. I left three messages over many days and never received a return phone call or any further bills. Yesterday, August 26th, I received a collection notice from a collection agency! I was horrified to say the least. When I finally got someone on the phone from the billing department, they were beyond unprofessional and blamed me for my account going to collection! I only received one notice and left several messages to rectify the problem and it's my fault? I have sent a letter to my surgeon so he is aware of how poorly his patients are treated at this center. I have sent Mid-Manhattan a check via registered mail in the full amount so they can no longer harass me unnecessarily.
