  All doctors offices charge a fee for Same day cancellation, failed appointments OR not calling ahead of time. The time frame is usually 24hrs. The reason why the time frame is 24hrs, is so someone else who wants to be seen, can be seen with your cancelled appointment. It gives the chance of a sick patient to be seen in your place. Dr. Guice's office forgives 1st failed appointment. There is also a yellow sign in the front lobby to notify you. After the 1st waived failed appointment, the office charges ONLY $10.

  I made in appointment for a Tuesday and when I called to transfer my appointment for Thursday, they wanted to charge me $20 extra dollars for the change. I told the secretary to have the doctor call me and she said he would call me back. 2 days later the secretary called me saying that the Doctor didn't wanted to talk to me and that I should look for another doctor.
