  The worthies location at all. The security is unfriendly and the check in lady is not listening. She do what she want. And have no respect. All documents was send to New Hampshire. And new hamshire gave us this appointment in Miami. They told us. We need nothing to bring. The send all documents to Miami. The check in ladie told me what we need. And if not we have to go. I try to explain it to her. But she was not listening. So I repeat it again and she send me out of line. I say a friendly comment again and she call the security. She say I have to talk to the security. I explain it to him but change nothing. Is wasting time. Good that I bring all papers. This passport is gold. I spend 150 dollars only in over night shipping. On top the fees 110 for the department. And not finish. The take a money order over 76 and over 16. For fast shipping and working. And still my wife have no passport. That is up know $ 350. Today driving 7 hours back and forth for this unfriendly department Totally unfriendly - only go there if you have to go.

  TERRIBLE SERVICE. I came to replace a lost passport. I already had the expectations of having to wait a long time to be called up. However my day was stretched even longer after the woman at the front desk denied my entry over the copy of my birth certificate that was already CERTIFIED and from the vital statistics bureau. she sent me down the street to the Miami Health department only to wait another 1 hour just for them to tell me I had the correct papers. When I went back to the agency I was no compensated for ANYTHING. They did not care at all that their employee made a mistake. Costing me double the parking fees through all of Miami. Their current fee is $10 (1st hour) + $2.00 every 20 minutes!!!!!!!!

  The staff at Miami's Passport office are just the most kind, compassionate, professional and helpful people. Recently I had to travel overseas to attend my mom's funeral, had not realized my passport expired a few days before, minutes before closing time and me being four hours away I called, they answered the phone with such grace and kindness and gave me all the information and assistance I needed to get it renewed to fly out the next day. I cannot praise this Passport office enough, everyone was so kind.

  Honestly I was terrified to step foot into this place after reading the reviews but all in all, it turned out to be a great experience. As long as you make an appointment, show up early and make sure you take care of ALL of the documents that are listed on the website, then you should be fine. Plus, being nice and friendly and showing the security that you appreciate them, will make the process go by a lot smoother. Same goes for the agents. I had an expired minor passport and had to file for an expedited adult passport for my trip to Europe in two days and the kind agent was able to do same day expediting for me. Be kind and they will be kind back.

  DEPARTMENT OF STATE now hiring for rent-a-cops and greeters. Qualifications: 1.) must be rude by nature 2.) must treat people as if they were inmates. 3.) must have the ability to not smile as it is not allowed. 4.) must have no soul. If you feel you meet these requirements please submit your application immediately. The people who actually work behind the glass are nice and there are no positions available there.
