  My son went to a drum camp at Meter Music School. He loved it. It was "awesome". I'm happy to see he is applying what he learned and practicing rhythms.

  Tim is a wonderful teacher. I feel I have learned a lot in a few classes. He guided me not only with the technique but he suggested me the proper instrument and a wonderful book fo my practice. I clearly can recomend him for adult people with dreams to learn to play music!

  My 9 year-old daughter attended a drum class at Meter over the summer. The teachers were Jason and Zach. It was a fabulous class-- my daughter loved it. Jason and Zach were both excellent instructors, and really lovely guys to boot. They are both super energetic and seemed to be seriously enjoying teaching the class. I was really impressed with Meter.

  I started taking voice lessons from John this past spring. I was really nervous about singing in public, let alone to a classically trained opera singer (John sings for the Seattle Opera). John helped me feel more comfortable by providing me with a range of warm up techniques- my favorite being "AAAH yes I remember it well!". These exercises helped me feel more comfortable exploring my range and capabilities as a singer. He helped me develop the skills and confidence to push myself as a student, but also challenged me to explore and build upon my range in ways I never thought possible. John also indulged my requests to sing obscure blues tunes from the early 20's and 30's- and seemed to have fun researching and amending written music to fit my range. It was a great experience that has given me the confidence to sing in public and maybe even in a recital! Thank you so much Meter Music School!

  My grand daughter started with after school keyboard classes w/Carly at age 5 & just completed a week long singing summer camp. My grand daughter loves Carly! Also, since the singing camp, our house has been filled with song. It is such a blessing to have Carly as a teacher!. She teaches with such joy and makes learning so much fun! We are so very lucky to have Meter Music school in the neighborhood. Please check them out, you will be happy that you did!
