  *update* wow, there's a lot of opeopl got ng through things with this company, gonna try to go a bit further with action . How are they allowed to treat people this way? And change things without notice . This is the worst company. Can't wait to change my insurance. They used to be good, now for last few months, they are totally disrespectful and rude. They are rejecting all of my claims for no reason at all. Just got hung up on by this country ass lady that answeed the phone, they tell you a different story every time you call with a question. This insurance sucjs.

  Worst service! Been hung up on after being on hold for half hour or just bc they didn't want to handle the call, they don't return calls or emails like they say they will. I rather go back to happ. They lost a tracking numbers for me for two years. Don't go with them trust me you'll save yourself the drama

  Terrible insurance for diabetics. They continuously change the insulins they will cover and force you to go with generic insulins that are subpar to their so-called equivalents. They have done this with both of my insulins which I have been on for 25 years, making me get pre-approvals, denying them, and making me appeal. Now, they are taking away coverage for my CONTINUOUS GLUCOSE MONITOR which I heavily rely on and has helped my glucose levels and anxiety. Meridian is the absolute worst and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

  Warning for future employees! There is a reason why the Cotton family has gotten so close with Detroit's notorious land grabber Dan Gilbert. They share the same principles. Now, these arent the principles you and I share. Thing's like treating your employees right. Rewarding the people that work hard for you and make YOU money. No, the principles they share are similar to those that most large inhuman corporations share. Which is work until you are no longer useful. Hostile work conditions which are a meat grinder of burned out and once idealistic people. These places require EVERYTHING from you and in return you get moderate pay, some meaningless perks, and zero job security. The question of being fired is not a matter of "if" but "when". You've heard that quicken loans is one of the worst places to work, right? Well, Meridian is the quicken loans of health insurance. You will work 50+ hours a week. You will take your work home with you. You will suffer from anxiety when your manager is in a bad mood because this place does not follow their handbook. Management is full of highschool minded bratty kids that have no problem exerting their authority on you. In fact, they get off on it. Don't plan to stay here longer than a year, they'd much rather bring in new meat than give promotions or raises to staff that's endured all the b.s. If you do decide to work here, start forming an exit strategy around the 8 month mark.

  Meridian Health Plan used to be everything I had hoped for in a health plan and loved everything about them. Now 6 years later, I feel like I'm talking to a child. I just called them this morning to get help looking for a specialist in my area. I would have done it myself, but I'm trying to get my 1 year old ready for an appointment so I called for quick guidance. I was told to look it up on Meridian's website! Thanks for the quick guidance & assistance!!! I have been considering switching health plans because of the lack of help lately!
