  Was in town for a quick weekend and wanted to get a ride in. Was able to rent a Trek Emonda S5 through Johnny's and received great service, including communication about the size of the bike (shout out to Peter!). When I arrived I was greeted by friendly staff who were willing to chat and share local rides. The shop had printed out selections of different rides to do, and includes a changing area with lockers (BYOLock) and showers. Couldn't ask for anything more from a shop that services not only renters but plenty to buy as well. Would definitely recommend and will use them in the future!

  Been was so helpful, i was shocked. I went in there to buy a bike lock, with a bike that was falling apart (seriously, breaks,kickstand,chain,gears) and I got to see been fix it all in 10minutes. It was like watching a master at work. Very beautiful actually.His focus and how quickly he inspected and pin pointed problems was masterful. Anywork I have done on my bike, I want it done here. Thanks Ben!

  bike was fine but when I got a flat tire late sunday afternoon, the spare tube in the pack was already flatted (looked like a classic pinch flat). Fortunately I had brought my own tire patches with me and was able to temporarily patch the original tube and get back to the B&B. It was however flat again the following morning and I lost a day of riding. Other issue was it cost $2 to just park for a few minutes in their parking lot, truly annoying.

  Great place for renting bikes and anything bike related. Very easy to reserve a bike online. Everyone was really helpful and friendly and had great advice. Will be my spot when I am back in town.

  I have visited over 4 bike shops since living here in Austin for the last 4 years. The last two times I have needed some work done I have gone to Mellow Johnny’s. Consistently the best service!! The staff here are super knowledgeable about bike equipment and needs. They allow you to schedule when you can bring your bike in. I know that sounds weird, but I have visited other bike shops where you can’t schedule appointments. I feel like they really do care about letting you know what’s wrong with your bike to help you increase your knowledge yourself. The price almost doesn’t matter to me because every time I take my bike in they return it feeling better. I highly recommend Mellow Johnny’s. If they continue with great service and great I will always take my bike needs here.
