  The Melilla Center in Glen Cove has supported me in so many ways. And truly has helped me through teaching and understanding. I am finally in recovery. Now I am able to help myself in many positive ways without fear. I now enjoy life because of their professional care and because I take my medication regularly.

  This place let go my friend David Aranda, 37yrs old during July of 2K17 and was found on January 2K18 by the police, now that to me is very irresponsible that a patient in need of medical attention can escape such a professional institution for mental health, same on them for all I know they are very blessed that the police found him alive; I hope the police persecute the people that hold Mr.Aranda for all those months I hope they take this issue very seriously. And have a big chat with him he needs a lot of help an understanding.

  Referred by LIJ/Northwell for outpatient services post treatment. All staff members are wonderful. Many services are provided to it's clients and it was well worth waiting for this busy facility.

  I live for this place ! My counsellor Alex has been the BIGGEST supporter throughout my journey.. I couldn't be more grateful for her and all the staff that work there.. They're always there when I need something.. They're always more than happy to help me.. I've been coming here for almost 3 years now and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.. Love the Melillo center

  took a week for Deloris Metzler to call me back. then she called me a liar when I told her that her staff had given me wrong information. and told me to go somewhere else if I didn't like it. and these people are suppose to 'HELP' us. scary.
